Check out the Sale Board, The Youth Club (this club is becoming very active, the youth are having a great time) Our Heartland Classic is coming up soon. Scott Warren, Farrier, will be at the Heartland Classic in Wichita to trim hoofs. He does a great job so if you don't find time to get that done prior to the show, he will be there to get that done for you. | Press release subject: Halter/showmanship clinic date: Saturday, March The Thunderbird Fire District of Arizona is hosting an all breed Halter/Showmanship clinic to help fine-tune your presentation and techniques of these often under- practiced classes. Clinicians Kit Townsend and Belinda Clifford will be helping you with everything from grooming for horse and handler to correct presentation to the judge. Whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned campaigner, you will come away with skills that will put you ahead of the competition. The clinic begins at 10am and runs until approximately 2 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2006. Participation in the clinic is only $50.00 or $15.00 to audit. Lunch is included in the price. There is no stadium seating, so please bring your own chairs. Concessions will be available on the grounds. The Thunderbird Community Arena is just south of the City of Maricopa, Arizona. The arena is conveniently located within an hour of the West and East Valley. Tucson is only an hour and a half away.
